Payment and the order process
Exactly what happens between the basket and the payment, and what you have agreed to by the time money changes hands.

The steps
- Basket. Adding a piece increases the counter on the navigation rail. Nothing opens over the page and nothing is reserved yet. Open the basket when you want to.
- Details. At checkout you give the name, address and contact details a carrier needs. The continue button stays disabled until those validate.
- Disclosures. On the same screen you confirm the terms of sale and that you have been informed of the 14-day right of withdrawal, and you agree to the use of your details for the order. If the basket contains an item that can be cut to measure, a separate confirmation appears in its own block.
- Payment. Only then does the payment step open, showing the total including VAT and delivery. Which methods appear is configured by the operator of this shop.
- Confirmation. You get an order confirmation by email with the contract text. The contract comes into being when we confirm the order or dispatch the goods.
Currency and taxes
- Every price on this site is in EUR (€).
- Every price includes German VAT (inkl. MwSt) at the applicable rate.
- Delivery is added visibly before you pay, never afterwards. Free within Germany from 120,00 €; other zones on the shipping page.
- Outside the EU, import duties and local taxes are payable by you to the destination country's authorities.
How card data is handled
Card details are entered at the payment step, which runs on the payment provider's own infrastructure. They are never entered on, transmitted through or stored by the pages of this site, and we never see a full card number. The whole site, including checkout, is served over TLS.
We do not store payment credentials for reuse, and there is no saved-card feature, because there is nothing recurring to charge for — every purchase here is a one-time purchase.
No subscriptions, no stored balances
There is no membership tier, no monthly or annual plan, no wallet, no store credit and no loyalty points scheme on this site. You buy a piece, you pay once. The newsletter is free and independent of any purchase.
When we may decline an order
We may decline or cancel an order, refunding it in full, where the delivery address is in a destination we cannot lawfully ship to, where a price or stock figure was displayed in obvious error, or where the goods requested fall outside what we make — see the boundaries in the terms of sale.
Invoices
An invoice showing the VAT included is sent by email with the dispatch confirmation. Business customers who need their VAT identification number on the invoice should send it to support@jahnlederwaren.shop quoting the order reference.
