Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, take physical possession of the goods. Where you have ordered several goods in one order that are delivered separately, the period runs from the day on which you take possession of the last item.

To exercise the right of withdrawal you must inform us — Jahn-Lederwaren GmbH, Dischingerweg 19, 72070 Tübingen, Germany, email support@jahnlederwaren.shop, telephone +49 1601984639 — of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

Who pays for the return

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For a small item this is ordinary parcel postage; for the largest desk mats, which ship in a tube, it is the tube rate. You may only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning — unrolling a mat on a desk to see whether it fits is such necessary handling; cutting, gluing or treating it is not.

Exceptions — where the right does not apply

The right of withdrawal does not exist for the following contracts:

• Goods made to your specification (§312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB). Anything cut to measurements you supply — a bespoke panel, a drawer liner cut to your drawer, a folder cut to a non-standard page size. Every such order is quoted individually and you confirm this exclusion separately before production begins. Stock sizes are never affected.
• Sealed care products unsealed after delivery (§312g Abs. 2 Nr. 4 BGB). Leather balm and cleaning products supplied in a sealed tin or bottle cannot be returned once the seal is broken, for reasons of health protection and hygiene. Unopened, they can.

No other exception applies. In particular, we do not exclude the right of withdrawal for sale items, sets or items described as cut to order in small runs.

What happens in practice

1. Tell us by email or post within 14 days of delivery. A sentence is enough; the form above is optional.
2. We reply with the return address and confirm the refund route the same working day where possible.
3. Send the goods back within 14 days of that notice. Keep proof of posting.
4. We refund within 14 days of receiving your notice, subject to the retention right described above.

Statutory rights are unaffected

The right of withdrawal exists alongside your statutory rights in respect of goods that are faulty or not as described. Those rights run for two years from delivery under German law and are not shortened, replaced or conditioned by anything on this page.
